MCHCA Board Chairman, Bernice L. Frazier says the vision for the future, includes expanding the building to add a pool for Crain Rehab to enhance its physical therapy capacity. She also anticipates renovations in the rear section of the Thomas Reed Medical Center that would become apartments for doctors in their residency phase to live in while working at the facility. In addition, she projects that one day a mobile medical clinic will travel throughout Macon County, providing medical care in isolated rural communities that are under-resourced.
The Home Page of this Website articulates an important message from the MCHCA Board of Directors, which sums up their commitment. “Your health is our primary concern. That’s why everything we do addresses HEALTH MATTERS.“
